Teignmouth Poetry Festival 2020
It is with great sadness that we had to cancel this year’s Poetry Festival, and were unable to hold our awards ceremony. Whether or not we can do something at a later date is an unknown at the moment, but we are delighted to announce our competition results here. Well done to all our winners and commended poets.
This is a big thank you to all of you:
To those who have refrained from claiming refunds on your tickets, and especially to those who have made donations over and above that.
To Seaway Guest House and to Nikki and her staff at the Pavilions for your help and co-operation.
To all our guest poets for bearing with us at this difficult time, especially those who have offered to forgo their fees.
To those who have sent us messages of support - apologies that we have not managed to reply personally to each of you but your messages are appreciated.
We are still continuing to sort out the aftermath, but we are encouraged by your support.
